We encourage you to stay locally so you can relax and enjoy the evening. We’ve reserved a room block at the Strath Motel - please call the motel and mention the Murchland/Walter wedding to book; payment is made at the property. Buses to and from the venue will depart from the Strath Motel. There are also plenty of other accommodation options nearby in Langhorne Creek, Strathalbyn, Milang, Macclesfield and surrounding towns. We have linked some options for you to look at below. Because our wedding falls the weekend before Australia Day, we recommend booking early.

We’ve arranged a bus transfer between Strathalbyn and Woodburn Homestead. Buses will leave the Strathalbyn Motel at 2:40 pm for a 3:00 pm arrival, and will return guests to Strathalbyn after the celebrations conclude around 11:00 pm. If you’d like to use this service, please register when you RSVP; you’ll receive a text with final pickup details the week before the wedding. If you’re traveling independently, local taxis (for example, Des Mt Barker) are available - please book in advance. We kindly ask independent arrivals to be at the venue at 3:00 pm and to schedule pick-ups for 11:00 pm. On-site parking is also available; if you plan to drive, please do so safely and consider using our transport options if you won’t be fit to drive home.
